Was this review helpful to you? For the person who wasn't thrilled with the "diet" - you must have missed the whole point, that being that you can adjust it to YOUR needs. Yes this is the size of a hefty textbook, but my gosh, what an easy read. Easy to understand, easy to implement. I have been dieting since i was 16 we're talkin decades here! For the first time in my life, i feel like i have control over my weight, and what i eat.

Goodbye to following someone else's recipes and ideas of what i should eat.. I will never need another diet book or diet again. I finally get to choose what and how i eat, and have it actually work for me.

Unless you've been a chronic dieter, you can't even imagine. Yes, i sent away for some of the supplements off Dr Mauro's website same as name of book.

I have tried to make up my own combinations of supplements, but when i started reading the nutritional panels and the pdf's of details of each supplements it just blew me away - i could never make up such sophisticated combinations on my own.

I don't even take them everyday though i try to remember to, and even then only at a lower dose. My skin looks better and my tummy is shrinking and i have great skin to begin with!

If you are into fitness, this book will transform your life. Adding muscle mass and shredding fat becomes pretty easy, and people at the gym look at you like you are taking anabolic steroids.

I have been implementing this diet for 5yrs now and it has been awesome. Also, your body type doesn't really matter; you can be an endomorph, ectomorph, or mesomorph you will still get good result.

Finally, you don't have to worry to much about supplements to gain muscle mass on this diet; the only supplement I take are amino acids, and I look better than most guys in the gym who take supplement A - Z. The Anabolic Diet is a diet that's high in fat and protein but low on carbs. It is one of the most unhealthiest diets EVER conceived. Mauro recommends this diet because he thinks that's what our ancestors ate. If that were true, so freaking what? Our ancestors were ignorant and ate what they can to survive and died young. Today's research proves that a diet high in carbs and low in fat is healthy for most people. If you follow this diet, prepare to get high cholesterol, increase chance of cancer, and diabetes.
